About Me
I grew up in a small town in Eastern Iowa surrounded by corn fields and the Mississippi River. I truly loved small town life and am happy to be back in Iowa after living in Texas for almost 8 years. I am living in the Cedar Rapids Area with my husband of 7 years and our 3.5 year old son. We enjoy exploring the community, camping, fishing, and movie nights! I work full time at The University of Iowa and began working in the wedding industry as a Planner/Coordinator in June 2022 in addition to my full time work.
As I continue to work as a Day of Coordinator and Venue Manager for Ashton Hill Farm in both Galena, IL & Cedar Rapids, IA I am enjoying taking on officiating as well! I started officiating because I believe your ceremony should feel personal, unique, and be a reflection of your love as a couple! I create custom ceremonies after getting to know you and make sure your ceremony is enjoyable and easy for you and your family. I have years of experience acting on stage and public speaking so I am comfortable and fun in front of a crowd. I can write your ceremony alongside you, surprise you, or any combination of the two! Let's make your ceremony the most special and memorable part of your day! I am an inclusive individual and believe that LOVE IS LOVE and am happy to officiate for ceremonies for any type of wedding.
